In the Mighty Avengers #4 the last page shows the Ubuntu grub screen on a computer in the panels. Kernel 2.6.10-5, they should really upgrade from Breezy.

Superhero Web Humor

I’m still a fan of superhero comics, and at 39 years old I do a mean imitation of the Comic Book Guy. Here are some web sites that show the funnier side of the superhero genre.

  1. Seanbaby’s Superfriends Page (NSFW-ish): This page dares to ask the question, why does a woman who grows a 100 foot tall wear a leopard skirt.
  2. Superdickery.com (NSFW-ish): Before the age of political correctness, comic book covers did not always show Superman as the symbol of truth, justice, and the America Way, and things were just weird.
  3. Superman: How it should have ended (DIVX)(YouTube): Well, it does make sense.
  4. Secret Wars Re-Enactment Society: Civil War Re-Enactment is a popular hobby in America, what if a group decided to re-enact Marvel’s Secret Wars.
