- Acted as liaison for student residents with special needs (developmental or physical disabilities and international students with language barriers) to University Computing Services to ensure all necessary accommodations were provided efficiently.

Ubuntu Community Council 2008 – Present
- Elected by Ubuntu members to help decide the philosophical direction of Ubuntu Linux.
- Responsibilities include attending bi-monthly meetings where the council determines policies, board membership and mediate problems within the community.
Ubuntu Forums Staff & Council Member 2005 – Present
- Help maintain a one million member user community that provides volunteer technical support for Ubuntu Linux.
- Responsibilities include attending monthly meetings where the council mediates problems within the community. The forums council also reviews infractions and bans given by forum moderators.
Ubuntu Americas Membership Board 2008 – Present
- Grant Ubuntu membership to deserving members of the community located in North and South America.
Ubuntu Developers Summit 2007 – Present
- Attended six Ubuntu Developers Summits, where developers and community members determine new features for the next version of Ubuntu Linux.
Amateur Radio (Call sign: N9YYO) 1994 – Present
- Assisted local amateur radio club in providing communications to security and medical personnel at University of Georgia football games. Monitored severe weather and made reports to storm watcher network to assist local emergency agencies.
