Gnomeboyadvance is a great GTK2 front-end for Visualboyadvance. The following instructions will install Gnomeboyadvance on your Ubuntu box with a deb file I created.
Get file:
wget -c http://mikesplanet.net/deb/gnomeboyadvance_0.4-1~breezy_all.deb
Install visualboyadvance:
sudo apt-get install visualboyadvance
Install File:
sudo dpkg -i gnomeboyadvance_0.4-1~breezy_all.deb
Restart Gnome Panel:
killall gnome-panel
